AC Horton is a New Jersey-based director, teaching artist, and arts administrator, originally from Memphis, Tennessee.

AC has assistant-directed productions of Hamlet [Waterwell / The Sheen Center], Shakespeare in Love [The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey], and The Winter’s Tale [The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey].
AC has taught theatre for the Professional Performing Arts School, The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, Salk School of Science and Battery Park School. She is a former teaching artist with Manhattan Youth and a former Artistic Intern at Waterwell.
For almost seven years, AC was the Artistic Associate at The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey. She is a proud University of Cincinnati (CCM) graduate with a BFA in Acting.
